Throughout my Tarot development journey the Tarot Kings have become a source of support and welcomed insight. Whilst the Kings each embody an energy that links to their element, they are ultimately Kings of decision. Each one rules with surety and a regal confidence that can only be afforded through their hierarchical ascension.

In this, we can trust their wise counsel, they have served, fought and accomplished.

Whilst I do trust my own judgement to help me to reach my decisions, I have on many occasions consulted with my Tarot cards to look at the guidance with a little more foresight. It is generally a positive affirmation that I am look for along with anything that I need to be aware of.

On some occasions I have asked my cards to show me what I most need to know and Tarot has never let me down. The Kings have a wonderful way of showing up in my reads at the right time with very specific insight.

The King of Swords does not suffer fools gladly, he rules the domain of thought, reason and communication. He will ask us to follow his advice to the letter! Have a strategy, look at and for the facts, research if you need to and then conclude, there will be a good reason and purpose why you are guided to do this so trust the process and only make your decision when you have the facts to hand.

The King of Cups reminds me (especially since I am a Pisces) to not react with a knee jerk emotional response in situations but instead, to choose balance and equilibrium. Choose emotional maturity, you can handle this with ease. In the past and especially our younger days handling our emotions was a challenge but now, in this moment, we reign supreme!

The King of Pentacles, is a favourite King of mine, he presents as well rounded, reliable and balanced. His presence has come for me when I am seeking practical, general guidance on work, financial or health matters.

Before I hear the words 'but it isn't ethical to carry out a health reading', I am not talking about using Tarot diagnostically or suggesting that Tarot can replace professional health advice but I am talking about questions that lay broadly within general wellness. Now is the time to implement that regime that we keep talking about starting.

Last but not least, I want to talk of the The King of Wands because for me, he means serious business, I don't delay or hang about within the presence of our Master Magician. He tells me that not only do I need to do something about this situation or dilemma, It is essential that I am active in achieving the outcome that I desire. His presence tells me or you that at this moment, in this situation, you or I has what it takes. This means you do need to do something about this and act now!
